Sandra Graves Brown

Sandra Graves Brown, age 70, of Lexington passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice Home. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Billy Pearson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church prior to the service. Mrs. Brown was born June 12, 1940 in Davidson County to Frank Ulyssis Graves and Treva Carrick Graves. She was a member of Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church. A loving mother and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Maxwell Brown. Surviving are her sons; Michael Briggs of Hendersonville, NC, Byron Briggs of Lexington. her brothers; Gary Graves and wife Angela of Lexington and Richard Graves and wife Jane of Winston Salem. Her nieces; Whitney McCarn and husband Josh and Alison Graves, her great niece; Raegan McCarn, great nephew; Brock McCarn all of Lexington.
