Sandra "Sandy" Kay Scarlett Dorsett

Sandra (Sandy) Kay Scarlett Dorsett, 58, passed away January 26, 2022, at her home in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held 11 am Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Garrett officiating and burial will follow at 1:00 pm, in the National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 9, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dorsett was born May 25, 1963, in Davidson County to Edgar Lee Scarlett and Mary Hedrick Scarlett. Sandy’s passion was her faith, and family. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, and sister, who will be missed by all. Was a member of Wayside Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her father, Edgar Lee Scarlett who died March 8, 2021.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jim Dorsett of the home; Daughter, Charity Dorsett of Thomasville; Mother, Mary Hedrick Scarlett of Lexington; Brother, David Scarlett and wife Lisa; Sister, Wanda Lee Sweeney husband, Jesse, all of Lexington.
