Sandra Myers

Mrs. Sandra Light Myers, 78, of Crews Lake Rd, died Friday at Lexington Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, October 27 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Benny Clodfelter.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Myers was born November 17, 1941 in Avery County to Walter Kenton Light and Oma Weatherman Light.  She was a 1964 graduate of High Point University.  She worked as teacher and was a loving mother and grandmother to her family.  Her husband, Woodrow Daniel Myers, and her brother, Walter Alan Light, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Daniel Myers of Canton, GA, her daughters, Stephanie Lara Myers of Clemmons, Amy Myers Page of Stokesdale, and  Elizabeth Erin Myers of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Ethan Page, Lucas Page, Hazel Myers, and Irene Myers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to West Davidson Food Pantry, Least of These Ministries, 4600 W. Old Hwy 64, Lexington NC 27295.
