Sandra Motsinger Pickett

Sandra Elizabeth Motsinger Pickett, 65 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14 ^th at Jersey Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Sandra was born on May 10, 1956 in Davidson County to Robert Damascus Motsinger and Bobbie Elizabeth Bell Motsinger.  She retired from Dakotah Cotton Mills and was a member of Jersey Baptist Church.  Sandra was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and our memories of her will be held in our hearts forever.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Keith Pickett, of Lexington; brothers, Vestal Motsinger (Kina), William Eddie Motsinger (Phyllis), Dale Robert Motsinger, Charles Motsinger (Amanda), all of Lexington; sister, Karen Lynn Smith, of Lexington; one granddaughter, Andrea Hicks; and Sandra’s companion, James ‘Jimmy’ Shaw.
