Sandra Bordeau Zudonyi, 65, of Erwen Road, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at her home.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Victory Baptist Church in China Grove with the Dr. Nelson Wright officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home.
Mrs. Zudonyi was born May 1, 1948, in Westchester County, Pa., to James Bordeau and Nola Viola Sluder Bordeau. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in China Grove. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Peterson.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald Zudonyi of the home; sons, Bryan Hopkins and wife Lori of Oklahoma and Jay Zudonyi Jr. and wife Michelle of Washington State; daughters, Teresa Croft and husband Doug of Concord, Michelle Brown and husband Stevie of Salisbury, Renee James and husband Gerry of Lexington, Cindy Zudonyi and husband Greg Caddell of Charlotte; her four legged companion, Mozes, of the home; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Bordeau of Virginia Beach, Va., Barry Bordeau of Hawaii, Scott Peterson of Pennsylvania, and Danny Peterson of Minnesota; and sisters, Jeanine Bordeau and husband Stephan of Virginia, Shirley Peterson, Bobbi Sue Hinson, both of Lexington, and Carolyn Lowrence of Minnesota.
