Sara Whitted Link

Sara Elizabeth Whitted Link, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Lexington City Cemetery with Rev. George Gee officiating.  Visitation with family and friends will be immediately following the graveside service and other times at the daughter’s home located at 297 Frankwood Drive, Lexington, NC.

Sara was born on November 30, 1942 in Davidson County to Roy William Whitted and Elsie Honeycutt Whitted.  She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clarence Whitted; sisters, Betty Jo Whitted and Verlie Mae Whitted.

Surviving are her loving husband, James Oscar Link, of the home; daughters, Patricia Ann Thornton (Jeffrey) of McLeansville, Tina Diane Burkhart (Tim) of Lexington; sister, Raye Leonard (Bascom) of Lexington; nieces, Kim Brown (Larry), Debbie Tate (Jim); and two grandchildren, Miriam Burkhart and Daniel Burkhart.
