Sarah Katheryn Nifong Odom

Sarah Katheryn Nifong Odom, 71 of Payne Road Lexington died Saturday at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Ms. Odom was born in Davidson County, April 15, 1935 to Jamie Frank Nifong and Catheryn Lewellyn Nifong. She was preceded in death by two brothers, J. Frank Nifong and Webb Nifong. Ms. Odom is survived by daughters Melody Gladhill and Susan Schlaht and her husband Dennis all of Lexington; grandchildren Tyler Lee Schlaht, Sarah Hope Schlaht, and Brayden Chase Gladhill all of Lexington; and a sister Betty Jean Bowman of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Wednesday (10/25/2006) at Faith Missionary Alliance Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Michael Gates and Rev. Albert Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 3:00 until 4:30 PM Wednesday prior to the service at Faith Missionary Alliance Church. Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
