Sarah Lorraine Pate

Sarah Lorraine Coleman Pate, 84, of Denton, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Pate was born August 13, 1936, in Columbus County, to William Aggrippa Coleman and Sarah Bell Watt Coleman. She retired from Lexington Furniture Industries, having worked in the cabinet room for many years. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Wesley Pate; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving is her son, Stephen Pate (Clara) of Denton; her daughter, Tina Johnson (Johnny) of Virginia; four grandchildren, John (Crystal), Daniel (Megan), Winter Tidwell (Matt), and Brandon (Sarah); and five great-grandchildren, Austin, Jaxon, Spencer, Talan, and Kayden.
