Sarah Anne Strickland

Sarah Anne Strickland went to be with her Lord on June 9, 2023.

Sarah was born March 16, 1980, to Frank and Sheila Strickland in Pulaski Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Marty Johnson; daughter, Stella Gaskins; parents, Frank Strickland (Anne) and Sheila Hall (Ed); sister, Marybeth Tedesco (Anthony), sisters; Samantha and Alexandra Hall, nephew, Philip; nieces, Alyssa and Emma Tedesco; beloved Papa, Johnny Miller; Aunts, Donna Williams (Philip), Gina Idol (Craig), Robyn Fulwider (Bill), Lori Braun (Tom); and cousins galore!

Sarah enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Stella, her family, and her dog, Romeo. Her love of fashion and makeup led her to a career in cosmetology. Sarah followed her passion and ultimately opened her own hair salon.

Visitation was held Friday, June 23, from 4-6, pm at Davidson Funeral Home, 301 N. Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Compass Christian Church located at 8137 Liberty Cir, Mechanicsville, VA 23111
