Sarah Rogers Varner

Sarah Frances Rogers Varner, 75, of Brentwood Drive in Lexington, passed away peacefully on Friday, August  31, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church with Pastor Chris Bitterman officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 5 ^th from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Sarah was born on December 29, 1942 in Davidson County to McRae Rogers and Mary Elizabeth Earnhardt Rogers.  She had previously worked at J.C. Penny in High Point and attended First United Church of Christ in Lexington.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving is her loving husband, Barry Lloyd Varner, of the home; son, Barry Todd Varner (Huong Vo) of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Sheri Varner-Munt (Rick) of Clayton, NC; brothers, Charles Rogers (Swannie), Bobby Rogers (Shirley), Tommy Rogers (Barbara), Ronnie Rogers (Kaye); and 4 grandchildren, Amelia Varner, Tristan Varner, Thien An Varner, and Thai Minh Varner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, 2101 Sardis Road North, Box 15, Charlotte, NC 28227.
