Sarah Clodfelter Ward

Sarah Clodfelter Ward, 83, a resident of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Hospice of Davidson County. She was born to the late Iva Fowler and Henry Jackson Clodfelter on July 1, 1939. She attended Ashemore Business School and went on to work in accounting for Myers & Myers CPA. Sarah enjoyed cooking, especially when she could provide a spread for several people. She was a member of Pilgrim Reformed Church where she sang in the choir. Sarah also loved cats and enjoyed having them when she was able. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Edward Ward and a sister, Martha Clodfelter.

A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday January 26, 2023 at Pilgrim Reformed Church with Rev. Richard Moore officiating services.

Left to cherish Sarah’s memory is her brother, Robert L. Clodfelter of Thomasville and a sister, Susan Clodfelter of Thomasville.
