Sarah Lee Williamson

Sarah Lee Williamson, 78, went home to her place in Heaven on Thursday, October 25, 2012. The services to celebrate her life will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the visitation beginning at 12:30pm and the funeral at 2 pm, with Pastor Patricia Hilton officiating and burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Ms. Williamson was born August 4, 1934, in Davidson County, to Ernest James Williamson and Toey “Bill” Eller Williamson. She was known to her family and friends as both “Sarah” and “Aunt Sally”. She loved her extended family and all of her friends. She enjoyed being with people and also loved spending time outdoors at High Rock Lake and at Oak Island. She retired from Pat Brown Lumber in Lexington where she worked in the administrative office. Surviving are her sister, June Plott of Asheboro; her brother-in-law James Plott; along with her three nephews and their wives: Phil and Sarah Plott of Charlotte; Greg and Leah Plott of Washington, DC; and Tim and Shelley Plott of Portland, Oregon. The family would like to thank the caring staffs of Lexington Health Care and Hospice of Davidson County.
