Scott Gibson

Scott Gibson, 65, of Lexington, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 4 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.  The family will receive friends briefly, immediately following the service, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. Scott was born October 12, 1952 in Lexington to the late Peggy Kepley.  Scott wore many hats, both literally and figuratively.  He was a loving husband, brother, father, father-in-law, and most recently, Grand Pappy.  He worked as a graphic designer and painter throughout his life.  However, his true passion was performing as a singer/song-writer.  He touched many lives, young and old, through his music. Carrying on his legacy is his wife of 43 years, Kay Gibson, daughter, Lindsay Goins, son-in-law, James Goins, grandson, Taylor, siblings, Debbie Baugus, Lisa Charles, Mike Kepley, Bill Kepley, and Tracy House.
