Scott Yarborough

Daniel Scott Yarborough, 53, of Billy Smith Road, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Lexington Community Church Auditorium, located at the American Children’s Home, with the Rev. Eric Disher officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church gym prior to the service. Mr. Yarborough was born April 25, 1960, in Davidson County, to Dan and Bertha Yarborough. He attended Lexington Community Church, where he helped with the Children’s Ministry for eight years, and most recently, Junior and Senior Youth Ministry and the Man Church. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Melanie Cooper Yarborough of the home; children, Daniel Cole Yarborough and girlfriend, Makenzie Manard of Clayton and Lindsay Kae Yarborough and boyfriend, Trevor Leonard of Lexington; sister, Beverly Yarborough Shytle (Tom) of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Hike Yarborough; six nieces, Leighanne Everhart, Ariel Everhart, Ali Yarborough, Dani Yarborough, Jessie Yarborough and Brooke Shytle French; and two nephews, Zach Yarborough and Taylor Shytle.
