Scottie Pierce

James Scott Pierce, age 50 of Lexington, NC passed away Saturday afternoon (June 6, 2015) at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday (June 9, 2015) at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. James Messer and Jeff Walser officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday (June 8, 2015) at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, NC. Mr. Pierce was born on August 5, 1964 in Davie County to James Edward Pierce and Jane Spry. He was the owner and operator of CD Concepts and was a regular attendee of Near Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his former wife, Edna Barnes Pierce of Lexington, NC; a son, Johnathan Patrick Pierce of Lexington, NC; a daughter, Tiffany Pierce of Lexington, NC; his step-mother, Stella Pierce of Lexington, NC; a brother, Jimmy Pierce of North Carolina; a sister, Juanita Roberts of Morganton, NC; a half-sister, Laura Mills of Lexington, NC; and Mr. Pierce’s girlfriend, Diane Goins of Sanford, NC.
