Seldon Holiday

Seldon Holiday age 92 passed away Thursday March 11, 2021 at Trellis of Winston Salem.. A funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday March 13, 2021 at First Assembly  of God where he was a member conducted by Pastor Vernon Richmeier. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 10-11 am prior to the service.

Mr. Holiday was born August 15, 1928 in Magoffin County Kentucky to Henry Holiday and Flora Rowe Holiday. His parents and his wife, EvaMarie Coffey Holiday all preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a brother, Kerney Holiday, a sister Melovee Holliday and a grandson, David Lynn Jones.

He retired from TI Moulding. Mr. Holiday loved to read and listen to bluegrass. He also was a avid antique collector.

Surviving are a son Phil Holiday (DeAnna) of Lexington and a daughter,Barbara Schaffhauser (Bill) of Winston Salem. Grandchildren: Lisa Schehr, Nicki Beylan (Ludwik) Dawn Overmyer, Jason Holiday and Chrissy Holiday Great Grandchildren: Courtney, Christopher, Jonathan,Chloe, Victoria, Ryan, Justin and Mae. Great Great Grandchildren: Pru and Zoe
