Sharon Lanier Easter, 58, of Westwood Lane, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at her home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Tyro United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Revs. Randy Foster and Gary Foster. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Easter was born January 30, 1950, in Davidson County, to Charles Ed Lanier and Della Mae Curry Lanier. She was had been employed at the Dispatch and for the past six years had owned and operated Me-Maws Nursery. She had taught the kindergarten Sunday school class and served on various committees at her church.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Easter of Tyro community; sons, Todd Easter and Chris Easter, both of Churchland; grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Lanie, and Andrew Easter; brother Ricky Lanier and his wife, Kitty, of Reeds; nieces Annette Kruse and husband, Brian, and Katie Easter; nephews Lee Lanier and wife, Renea, Jason Miller and wife, Angie, Chris Tester and wife, Aimee, and Josh Easter and wife, Elizabeth; other special family members, Terry and Linda Miller of Tyro and Gary and Renee Easter of Lenior; and special friend Sandy Hobbs and husband, Dane, of Reeds.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home.
