Sharon Hill

Sharon Arlene Mullens Hill, 56, of Riverview Road Extension, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a brief illness. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Danny Blackburn. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday just prior to the service. Mrs. Hill was born Dec. 11, 1956, in Marion County, Ind., to John Verdon Mullens and Norma Johnson Hall. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her mother and a brother, Carlos "CJ" Mullens. Surviving are her husband, Douglas Howard Hill Sr. of the home; two sons, Chris Forrest and wife of Mocksville and Shannon Forrest and wife of North Carolina; a stepson, Douglas Hill Sr. of Florida; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Jeffery Mullens and wife Carolyn of Southmont; and two sisters, Dana Everhart and husband Randy of Murphy and Tamera White and husband Jeffery of Lexington.
