Sheila Morris

Mrs. Sheila Edwards Morris, 52, of Greensboro Street, Ext, died Sunday, May 13 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 16 at Pilgrim Reformed Church, by the Rev. William Sowers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Morris was born September 2, 1959 in Davidson County to Samuel Carl Edwards and Katie Juanita Crotts Edwards. She was a former employee of Lexington Telephone Company and later at worked at Lexington Health Care as long as her health permitted. She was a member of Pilgrim Reformed Church, where she had been active with the youth of the church. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Morris of the home; her daughter, Jennifer Lee Morris of the home; her step-sons, Michael Dwayne Morris and wife, Loretta, of Lexington, and Jeffrey Scott Morris of Indiana; her sister, Tonya Edwards of Denton; her brother, Michael Keith Edwards and wife, Theresa, of Lexington; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
