Shelby Chisom

.Shelby Montgomery Lee Chisom, 17 of Hege Dr. Reedy Creek, died Saturday August 7, 2010 in Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 14, 2010 at Good Hope United Methodist Church where she was a member, with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Shelby was born in Forsyth County on December 4, 1992 to Mark Lawrence Chisom and Lisa Elizabeth Hill Chisom. She was a rising senior at North Davidson High School, where she was a member of the 2009 yearbook staff, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was a former member of the club, Brutal Knights, FFA, soccer and basketball teams. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Chisom and great grandparents J.W. and Belauh Hill. Surviving are her parents, and sister, Savannah Chisom of the home; paternal grandmother, Mitzie Chisom of Winston Salem; maternal grandparents, Harry and Jean Hill of Lexington; her aunts and uncles, Tracy and James Chisom II, Debra Booth, Cindy Nardozzi, Connie and Harry Lee Hill, and Beverly and Tim Berrier; and her cousins, Mary Chisom, James Chisom III and wife Cassie Anders, Melissa and Jeffery Diehl, Ava Booth, Chelsea Nardozzi, Vincent Nardozzi, Tasha Hill, Brandon Hill, Chasity Hill, Summer Hill, Beverly and Tim Berrier, Brent Berrier, Clay Berrier, Sadie Anders, Ronnie, Missy, Erin and Daniel Leonard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Hope United Methodist Church or to the youth group at 10253 Hampton Rd., Lexington, NC 27295 or North Davidson High School Athletics Club at 7227 Old US Hwy 52, Lexington, NC 27295.
