Shelby Jean Bean

Shelby Jean Coble Bean, 74 of Mt. Moriah Manor, Lexington died Saturday August 14, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House after an illness of 8 months. A memorial service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Knight officiating. The family will see friends following the service. Mrs. Bean was born in Randolph County on June 8, 1936 to Charles Edward Coble and Crissie Mae Cockman Coble. She was retired from Buena Vista Nursing Home and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Edward Bean; sister Hilda Blue. Surviving are; four sons, Jerry Bean and wife Donna of Biscoe, NC, Ricky Bean of Hedersonville NC, Jimmy Bean of Lexington and Jason Bean and wife Rebecca of Southmont; two daughters, Sherry Gwyn and husband Jack and Angie Bean both of Lexington; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Tilley and husband Clyde of Lexington; Carolyn Barnes of Asheboro In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
