Shelley Christley Robertson

Shelley Christley Robertson, 58, of Greentree Drive, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House following a one month illness. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Hillard officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Robertson was born July 6, 1955, in Davidson County, to Carl Sylvester Christley Sr. and Grace Howell Christley. She was a former machine operator at Duracell and a member of High Rock Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonita Royall. Surviving are husband, Jeffrey Richard Robertson of the home; son, Brandon Robertson of Lexington; daughter, Tonya McCarson and husband Joel of Lexington; two grandchildren, Anna Grace McCarson and Meredith McCarson; brothers, Dennis Christley and wife Brenda, Randy Christley and wife Cindy, and Jody Christley and wife April, all of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
