Sherman Arthur Ramsey

Sherman Arthur Ramsey, age 83, of Winston Salem passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Oak Forest United Methodist Church Family Life Center conducted by Rev. Julie Welborn Peeler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family request social distancing and wear a mask. Mr. Ramsey was born June 11, 1937 in Bland County, Virginia to Otho Glenn Ramsey and Mina Ann Sarver Ramsey. He retired from Swift. His wife, Imogene Wright Ramsey and nine brothers and sisters all preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, Charles Ramsey (Geraldine) and a daughter, Drema Britt all of Winston Salem. His Grandchildren, Stacy Byrd (Terry) and John Britt both of Winston Salem. His sister, Merita Love of Richlands Virginia. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
