Sherry Ann Cross

Sherry Ann Cross, 46, of Jess Cross Road, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at her home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Macedonia United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Burton Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church and other times at the home of her parents, 10076 NC Highway 8. Sherry was born September 28, 1964, in Davidson County, to John A. Cross and JoAnn Louya Cross. She was preceded in death by a son, Clinton David Leonard. Surviving are daughter, Sydney Ann Leonard of the home; grandchildren, London, Addie and Thor Eli; her parents of Lexington; sisters, Tammy Cross Swing and husband, Kim, of Lexington, and Sandi Cross Tongel and husband, Nathan, of Southmont; special nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jason, Marissa, Caleb, Bethany, and John; and two special uncles, Billy Cross and Lindsay Louya.
