Sherry Bevan Gobble

Sherry Gobble, age 55 of Pickett Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Amvets Post 13, 423 Marco Blvd., Lexington, NC Sherry was born in Dare County, January 18, 1961 to Ronald Welch and Mary Joyce Owens Bevan. She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary with Amvets Post 13, where she was loved by her sisters and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Danny Bevan. Sherry is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Gobble of the home; daughter, Tina Marie Benton (Nick) of Kings Mountain; granddaughter, Layla Benton; mother, Joyce Owens Bevan of Lexington; step-son, J.D. Gobble of Lexington; sisters, Charlene Mabe (Mark) and Gay Bevan Hegler (Scott) all of Lexington and a great aunt, Carrie Beck of Lexington.
