Sherry Lynn Jump, 58, departed from this world on September 8, 2025, in Lexington, North Carolina. Sherry was born on July 17, 1967, in Virginia. Sherry's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 

Sherry lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a deep love for her family and the simple joys in life. Her journey began in Virginia, and she carried the spirit of her upbringing throughout her life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and in law, known for her never-ending love and commitment.

Sherry found immense joy in camping, creating cherished memories with loved ones under the stars. She was a devoted family woman who cherished every moment spent with them, especially her grandchildren, and visiting the mountains always brought a smile to her face. Described as having a kind soul, Sherry had a way of making those around her feel loved and cared for. Her unwavering devotion to family remains her greatest gift, one they will carry on with every generation.

Sherry is survived by her loving spouse, Michael Wayne Jump, her sons Brandon L. Guy and Joshua A. Guy, her daughters Kristen N. Jump and Cynthia L. Jump, her 11 cherished grandchildren, and her brothers: Ted Blevins, Allen Blevins, Curt Blevins, Dale Blevins, and her stepfather Douglas Stapleton. She was preceded in death by her parents Lessie Bernice Blevins (Anderson) and Willard Jack Blevins, and her brothers Larry Blevins and Jack Blevins. Though Sherry has left this world, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.

A visitation with a memorial service to follow will be held at Davidson Funeral Home at a later date.
