Sherry Kinney

Mrs. Sherry Pearce Kinney, 51, of Grimes Blvd, died Saturday at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27 from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Lewis Johns and David Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Kinney was born November 1, 1957 in Lee County to John Russell Pearce and Peggy Ann Patterson Pearce. She was a homemaker and member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, who died May 12, 2009, and her father. She is survived by her husband, David Kinney of the home; her daughters, Kerri-Beth Kinney of the home and Christy Knight and husband, Tim of Winston Salem, and her grandchildren, Zachary Knight, Kaitlyn Knight,, Haleigh Knight, and Michael Knight. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
