Shirley Ann Lowe Connie

Shirley Ann Connie, 65, of Linwood Southmont Road, died Thursday March 14, at her home. A funeral service will be 2 pm Monday, March 18, 2013, at Christian Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Revs. Sam Harvey and David Langley officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday March 17, 2013 at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Connie was born September 6, 1947 in Swaim County, to James Clint Lowe and Eva Nell Lowe Brigman. She was retired final inspector from Hekman Furniture and a member of Christian Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant sister, Mary Judy Lowe and sister, Geraldine Thompson Mainess. Surviving is her husband David Connie of the home; her mother of Lexington, sons, Lonnie James Bryant of the home, Danny Connie, David Connie Jr. and wife Nancy, Scotty Connie and wife Mandy, all of Lexington; daughter, Christy Bryant Leonard and husband Bill of Lexington; mother, Eva Nell Lowe Brigman; nine grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Lowe Crotts and husband Donnie, and Carolyn Lowe Myers and husband Jack, all of Lexington. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
