Shirley Mize Conner

Shirley Mize Conner, age 73 of Mt. Moriah Drive, Lexington passed away Friday afternoon March 10, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday March 16, 2017 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. David Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night. Shirley was born in Davidson County December 20, 1943 to Irvin Woodrow Mize and Beatrice Shoe Mize. She was a former employee of Mid State Tile. She was of the Baptist Faith and preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her daughter, Connie James of Lexington; son, Robert Lee Conner of Lexington; grandchildren, Devin Conner (Logan) and McKenzie Grubb all of Lexington; sister, Barbara Brinkley (Noel) of Lexington; special friend, Tammy Lanier and her special canine companion, Cocoa.
