Shirley A. Crocker

Shirley A. Crocker, 68, of Rosebriar Drive, Lexington passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Hinkle Hospice House.   A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Tammy Talbert officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Thursday in Spirt Hall just prior to the service.   Shirley was born June 5, 1949 in Union County, SC to Arthur Crocker and Ella Childers Crocker. A member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, she was a secretary for a newpaper, Carolina Pad in Charlotte. She was a member of the Southmont Lions Club. Two brothers, Allen Crocker and Joseph Crocker preceded her in death.   Surviving are her husband, Harold Trogdon of the home; two sons, Danny Brown (Donna) of Hickory, NC, Kenneth Trogdon of Lexington; a daughter, Sharon Laws (Scott) of Lexington; 4 grandchildren and a brother, Elbert Crocker of Charlotte.   Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292       Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
