Shirley Lawrence Frank

Shirley Lawrence Frank, 76, of Lexington, passed away December 20, 2022, at her home in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 2022, at Beck’s Reformed Church, where she was a member.  Revs. Paul Perkins and Butch Conrad will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will see friends at Davidson Funeral Home Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Shirley was born May 14, 1946, in Alamance County to Henry Raleigh Lawrence and Elma Kelly Lawrence. She was a devoted member of the church and sang in the church choir for many years.  Shirley was a retired teacher and administrator with the Forsyth County School System for 30 years.  She graduated from Appalachian State University and UNC Greensboro with her Bachelor’s Degree and advance degrees.   She faithfully mentored student teachers through Salem College.  Her passion was her faith, church, and family. Shirley was a loving wife, sister, and aunt who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Billy and Donald Lawrence.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Charles Keith Frank of the home, her brother, Bobby Lawrence (Lee) of Burlington, her sister, Linda Bayliff (Rod) of Jupiter Fla., her sister-in-law, Evie Lawrence of High Point; brother-in-law, Hebert Frank (Debbie) of Lexington, and numerous nieces and nephews who she thought the world of.
