Shirley Jean Everhart Haas

Shirley Jean Everhart Haas, 73, of Green Meadows Drive, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Louia. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends form 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2011, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter on Fast Lane. Mrs. Haas was born April 28, 1938, in Davidson County to Grady Lee Everhart and Hazel Hancock Everhart. She was retired from PPG. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Haas; brother, Bobby Ray Everhart; and sister, Betty Lou Bruff. Surviving are daughter, Beverly Hill and husband, Charles of Lexington; step-daughters, Karla Joyce and husband, Rick, and Kim Watson and husband, Greg of Lexington; grandchild, Ashley Peek and husband, Justin of Huntersville; four step-grandchildren, Colton, Nikki, Dalton and Holly; sisters, Mary Louia and husband, Wendell, and Peggy Wrenn, both of Lexington; and several step-great-grandchildren.
