Shirley Pickett Hill

Shirley Pickett Hill, 81 of Lexington North Carolina passed way Sunday October, 27th 2024. At Abbotts Creek Center.

There will be a funeral 2 P.M.  Friday November 1, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Rev. Dr. Chris Griggs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Shirley was born to Ray and Elsie Pickett on February 10, 1943 in Davidson County. She is survived by son Bobby Wayne Hill, daughters Denise Hill Ferrell (Bobby), Carolyn Hill Wood (Wayne) 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, special friend Cheryl Rhoten. Shirley helped raise several children and two remain very special Lacey and Dylan Freedle.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Elsie Pickett. Husband of 53 years Robert “Bobby” Randall Hill, brother Billy Pickett, grandchildren John, Summer, Maria, Brandi.
