Shirley Jean Hemric Everhart

Shirley Jean Hemric Everhart, 70, of Welcome was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 25 ^th , 2022.  While she will be sorely missed here on Earth, she is finally back in the loving embrace of her Husband of 50 years, Rod, her son Chad, her Mother Bea, and her Brother Timmy, all of whom preceded her in death and that she missed dearly.  Additionally, she leaves behind a large family that loved her deeply and that she loved with all of her heart. Surviving are children: Shane (Stacie) and Rusty (Shannon); Grandchildren: Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, Joshua, Taylor, Christian, Ryder, Charlotte, Noah, and Izaiah; Great Grandchildren:  Wyatt Kepley (Taylor) and Baby Everhart (Andrew); Uncle Darrell; Sisters Debbie (Kelly) Hedrick and Rhonda Whicker; and Nephews Brenn (Nickie) and Brandon (Jen) Hedrick.  Niece Brandy Whicker and Nephew Matthew Jolley preceded her in death.  So many children, beyond her Grandchildren, knew her more affectionately as simply “Grandma”.  A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 29 ^th from 6:00-8:00 at Davidson Funeral Home located at 858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30 ^th at 4:00 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church located at 1087 Leonard Rd, Lexington, NC 27295.
