Shirley Jean Myers

Shirley Jean Myers, 64, of U.S. Highway 64 East, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at her home after being in declining health for several months. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lloyd Spencer. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Myers was born in Davidson County on March 19, 1942, to Millard Myers and Elizabeth Jackson Myers. She was retired from Xopac Plastic Co. Surviving are three brothers, Millard Myers Jr. and Andy Myers, both of Lexington, and Don Myers of Alexander, Va. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Davidson County Cancer Services, 25. W. Sixth Ave., Lexington, NC 27292. The family would like to thank them for their hard work and the services that they provide for the people of Davidson County.
