Skip Clodfelter

Albert “Skip” Robert Clodfelter, 79, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Born on June 18, 1945, in Davidson County, Skip was the son of the late Albert Roscoe Clodfelter and Myrtle Hunt Clodfelter. He dedicated 48 years of his life to his work as a master finisher at Dixie Furniture, where he was known for his skill, commitment, and strong work ethic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Clodfelter.

Left to cherish his memory are his first cousin, Terry Hunt (Phyllis) and their son, Seth; and his dear friend, Mary Sue Fowler, along with many others who were touched by his kindness and quiet strength.
