Sonny Conner

Sonny Conner, 57, of Cliffwood Drive, Lexington, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at his home. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Peterson. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. He was born March 21, 1949 in Columbus County to Braxton Conner and Sessie Coleman. He was a self employed painter and was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Elbert Conner. He is survived by a son, Jody Conner of Lexington; two daughter, Sonya Conner of Morganton, and Amanda Newman of Hickory; three grandchildren; his brothers, Robert Conner and Brack Conner, both of Lexington, Stevie Conner of Charlotte, and Mitchell Conner of Winston Salem; and his sisters, Doris Livengood and Brenda Collins, both of Lexington The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00AM Saturday at the church.
