Staci Roxanna Moore

Staci Roxanna Moore Moore, a lifelong native of Lexington, passed away on May 26, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House of Lexington.

Staci was born in Lexington North Carolina, on Saturday, July 2nd, 1966, to Bobby Lee Moore, Sr. and Betty June Collins Moore. Staci was deeply committed to serving her community throughout her life. She graduated from North Davidson High School in 1985 and immediately began a career of service, starting at the Welcome Fire Department. Shortly after high school, on May 4, 1985, she married Mike Moore. Staci built not only a family with her husband but also a distinguished career as a dispatcher for Davidson County Emergency Services. Staci served in many different capacities within public service with dedication. She was a member of the Central Davidson Fire Department, serving with the Ladies' Auxiliary. Her involvement as a past Secretary of the Davidson County Public Safety Association and her membership in the Davidson County Crisis Intervention Team highlighted her commitment to public safety and community well-being. Staci found great joy and purpose in teaching CPR and EMT classes at Davidson County Community College, touching countless lives through her expertise and compassion. Outside of serving her community and in recent years, Staci found great joy in her family. She particularly loved doing all of the things that go along with being a "Mimi"; cooking with her grandchildren and spending time with them made memories that they will carry throughout their lives.

Staci's legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering dedication. Those left to carry on that legacy are her loving husband, Mike Moore; her daughter, Cassi Tate and husband Jason, of Pilot Mountain, NC; and her son, Seth Moore and his fiancée, Alicia Snow, of Lexington, NC. She also leaves behind her brother, Bobby Moore and wife Deborah; and her sisters, Sheree Landers and husband Rick, Betty Starrett, and Katrina Sisk and husband Bobby; 5 grandchildren, Ella Tate, Liam Tate, Luke Tate, Riverlin Moore and Chasity Cox. Along with her parents, Staci was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim and Joe Moore.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Staci’s life, beginning with a visitation on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church in Lexington, with a burial to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Davidson County, in honor of Staci’s life of compassion and care.

Staci will be remembered as a beacon of kindness and strength, with a heart that embraced her community, friends and family deeply. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
