Stanley Linwood Bush, Sr.

Stanley Bush, Sr., 71, of Kay Drive, Lexington, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Keith Carol officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.  Mr. Bush was born on October 27, 1946 in Warren County, NJ to Jacob Pencil Bush, Sr. and Margaret Louise Griffen Bush.  He retired from PPG Industries and attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ethel Bush.  Surviving is his loving wife, Marie Elaine Hoy Bush, of the home; sons, Sam Bush (Tammy) of Lexington; Mike Bush (Dawn) of Thomasville; daughter, Sherry Rowe (Ron) of Virginia; brother, Jacob Bush, Jr. (Margaret) of Florida; sisters, Mary Cornine (Earl) of NJ, Helen Hoy (Bob) of Southmont, Ellen Williams (Lee) of Florida; and three grandchildren, Gavin Rowe (Sara), Hunter Rowe and Colby Bush.
