Stanley James Kalesnik Jr., 75, of Whitehall Court, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at his home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Pastor John Langdon officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the funeral home.
Mr. Kalesnik was born November 8, 1934, in Chester County, Pa., to Stanley James Kalesnik Sr. and Bessie Thompson Kalesnik. He was retired from Westinghouse Electric. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kasha McVeigh; and a sister, Marie McCullough.
Surviving are his wife Catherine Tess Weldon Kalesnik of the home, sons, Stanley Edward Kalesnik of Lester, Pa, Frank Thomas Kalesnik and wife Carol of Lester, Pa, Alan Charles Kalesnik, James Edward Kalesnik, both of Lexington, and George Edward Kalesnik of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Lynda Marie McClory, and Bethanne Kalesnik Cook and husband, Joe, both of Winston-Salem; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Teddy Kalesnik, Walter Kalesnik and wife, Violet, Bobby Kalesnik and wife, Tanya, Frank Kalesnik and wife, Emily, all of Lester, Pa.; Billy Kalesnik of Cochranville, Pa, and Ed Kalesnik and wife, Jeanette, of West Chester, Pa.
