Stephanie Schneggenburger, a devoted mother, caring sister, and beloved 1st-grade school teacher, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2023, alongside her husband, Bruce Schneggenburger. She was born on February 1, 1968, to Dr. Harold Fletcher and Barbara Kiger Fletcher. Stephanie’s untimely departure has left a void in the lives of her family, friends, and the community she touched.
Stephanie dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a cherished 1st-grade school teacher at Wallburg Elementary School. Her passion for education and her unwavering commitment to her students enriched countless lives and inspired a love for learning that will endure for generations to come.
Outside of the classroom, Stephanie was an active member of Center Grove Church, where she was engaged in community outreach with her Life Group. Stephanie was also an avid traveler and loved being outdoors with her family. She found immense joy in being a mother and mimi. She leaves behind two precious grandchildren, Ellie and Sadie.
Stephanie was a beacon of love and support to all that knew her. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Harold Fletcher and Barbara Kiger Fletcher, her son Tyler Odell (Tess), her daughter Taylor Walker (Riley), two bothers, Anthony Fletcher and Ray Fletcher (Patty), and a sister, Sherri Hutchens (Rick). Stephanie’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and strength will continue to guide and inspire her family.
A funeral service to celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Center Grove Church in Clemmons. Visitation will follow the service. Stephanie’s final resting place will be at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, also in Clemmons.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Stephanie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
