HEADING NAME: Stephen Halverson Stephen Anthony Halverson, 64, of W. Fifth Ave., Lexington, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Jim Groome officiating services. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Tuesday, at Davidson Funeral Home . Mr. Halverson was born February 26, 1950 in Mercer County, West Virginia. He was retired from Trinity Health Care of Winston- Salem. He was raised by his foster parents, Walter McKinley Crouse and Alma Hutchens Crouse who preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Amy Bulla Halverson of the home; one son, Sam Halverson of Charlotte and one daughter, Emily Elliott of Matthews; one grandson, Cole Elliott of Matthews.
