Stephen Peter Mininni, born and raised in Lexington, NC went to be with his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather in Heaven on the 6th of January 2023 at only 26 years old following an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 10, 2022, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home.
Stephen, known for his charismatic smirks, smiles and love of all things Legos, a loving son, brother, and partner has left behind his parents Maryann and Peter Mininni, four siblings Kevin (Sarah), Matthew (Lauren), Gregory (Michelle), Lauria (MJ), girlfriend Emalie, nieces, a nephew, and many others who loved him dearly.
Four brothers. Being the youngest of “the boys,” this coined phrase in the Mininni home (and everywhere else) left little room for anything short of a lot of commotion and a whole lot of love. Growing up, the four brothers were synonymous for any of them as “the boys” were a one for all/all for one deal, leaving Lauria, the baby sister safe from of any chaos “the boys” were involved in. The four brothers will never be the same; the (s)quad will never again be complete.
Stephen attended Davidson County Schools through his graduation from Central Davidson in 2014 and made a career as an inventory analyst at Larson’s Windows and Doors. In his free time, he played video games with his girlfriend and three brothers, spent many Friday nights at the lake with his friends, watched cooking shows, and loved on his animals. To put it simply, he was a happy guy with a good life. He was never afraid to open his heart without limits to his girlfriend Emalie and life-long friends. He found family not only in blood, but by choice.
He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his memory will be treasured forever.
