Steve Julian Craver

Steve Julian Craver 62 of Lexington passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Aaron Long and Rev. Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Steve was born on December 16, 1953 in Davidson County to Clarence Julian Craver and Minnie Weaver Craver. He was a graduate of North Davidson High School and was an organist at Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father (2008). Steve was a member of Center United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Marcia Anne Leonard Craver of the home; his mother Minnie of Lexington; a son, Ryan Lee Craver also of Lexington; a daughter, Julie Craver Johnson of Charlotte; brother, Keith Craver of Lexington; two grandchildren, Aiden Blake Johnson and Elijah Julian Johnson.
