Steve Fitzgerald

Robert Steven (Steve) Fitzgerald, 65, of E. Holly Grove Road, Lexington, died Tuesday June 19, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Kelley Groce and Doug Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Mr. Fitzgerald was born December 21, 1946, in Davidson County, to Howard Fitzgerald and Vera Hedrick Fitzgerald. He was a graduate of West Davidson High School and Davidson County Community College. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was self employed. Surviving is his wife, Helen Gosnell Fitzgerald of Lexington; mother of Albemarle; stepdaughter, Amanda Walser Bostick and husband Carlos of Lexington; three step-grandchildren, Xander, Carlie and Colbie Bostick; brother, Barry Fitzgerald and wife Rose of Clemmons; and sister, Marie Fitzgerald Thompson and husband Sam; and his only niece, Tori Thompson.
