Steve William Greene, age 20, of Rockcrusher Road Lexington died Saturday from injuries received in an automobile accident.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home by the Rev. Eric Disher. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Greene was born in Davidson County on Oct 29, 1986, to William James “Willard” Greene and Candace Hughes Greene. He was a 2005 graduate of Central Davidson High School, and employed at Tarheel Q. He had a special interest in family, friends, music, and billiards. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Doris Musgrave Greene and Virgie E. Hughes and a grandfather, Carl R. Hughes.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Tonya Greene Beal and husband, Chad, of Lexington; special niece, Scholar Beal; special nephew, Drake Beal; grandfather, Carson Greene of Lexington; aunt, Annette Greene of Lexington, uncles, Robin Hughes and wife, Ronda, of Freemont, Ohio, Glenn Hughes and wife, Betty, of Winston-Salem, and Terry Hughes of Huntersville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
