Steve Hunter

Steve Hunter, 73, of Spring Grove, VA died September 1, 2022. Born and raised in Midway, North Carolina, son of the late Paul Hunter and Evelyn Hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathi Hunter; sons, Evan Hunter (Julie), of Winston Salem, NC, and Eric Hunter (Liz), of Chesterfield, VA; grandchildren, Ryan, Ethan, Cole, Charlotte, Megan, and Sarah; sister, Lawana Ford, of Salisbury, NC.

A visitation will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Saturday, September 10th from 3 pm - 5 pm, 3050 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831.

Family will receive family and friends at Midway United Methodist Church, 9795 Old, US-52, Lexington, NC 27295, Friday, September 16th at 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 am.  Military Rites by The US Air Force and Davidson County Honor Guard. Interment will follow at Midway UMC Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Burrowsville Ruritan Club, 17410 James River Drive, Disputanta, VA 23842 or to Midway United Methodist, Old US Highway 52, Lexington, NC 27295.
