Steve Lee Walser

Steve Lee Walser age 66 of Lexington passed away Monday, July 13th 2015 at his home with family. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 16th 2015 at Good Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Dustin James officiating. Burial will follow to the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday night at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel other times at the home. Steve was born December 5th 1948 in Davidson County to Olin Walser and Eliza Katherine Craver Walser. He was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church and enjoyed farming. He was blessed with many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Jr. Walser, sisters; Thelma Pickle and Pauline Byerly. Surviving are his wife Betsy Carol Walser Walser of the home, son; Chris Walser (Stephanie) of Clemmons, daughter; Renee Singleton (Brent) of Lexington, sisters; Marie Grubb of Welcome, Betty Weaver of Reedy Creek and Elsie Yarborough of Linwood, grandchildren; Brittany Singleton and Cali Joy Walser. The family would like memorials directed to: Hospice & Palliative Care Centers of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
