Steven Tysinger

Steven Tysinger, 74, of Ed Byerly Road, Lexington, passed away Wednesday March 4, 2020 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday at Lighthouse Baptist Church of Welcome, where he was a member, with Pastor Avery Varnadore officiating services.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday at the church.

Mr. Tysinger was born September 18, 1945 in Davidson County County to James Wilbur Tysinger and Florence Ann Thomason Tysinger. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Wanda Tysinger, his second wife Lois  Mary Moody Tysinger, two brothers, Donald Tysinger and Terry Tysinger; five sisters, Brenda Noles, Viola Hartley, Frances Hepler, Sandra Richard and Betty Martin; and a grandchild, Nathan.

Surviving is his daughter, Dawn Smith ( B.J.) of Lexington, a son, Steven Paul tysinger (Dana) of Lexington; three brothers, Jerry Tysinger (Linda), Larry Tysinger (Harriett), Jimmy tysinger (Vickie), all of Lexington; two sisters, Diane Allison (Sammy) and Shirley Martin, both of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Lawanda, Manuel, William, and Chancie, 8 great-grandchildren and one special great-grandchild K.K Smith.
