He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Billie Ann Fesperman McGuire of the home, a son Tim and his wife Mindy McGuire of Winston-Salem, a sister Shirley McGuire Sidden of Winston-Salem, and a brother Owen (Jo) McGuire of Port Charlotte, Florida. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and two granddogs, Sam and Ava. He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters that preceded him in death.
